Getting to Know Those YOU Support!

Emmanuel Ruy is from Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil. Emmanuel tells us about what attracted him to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart "I remember that one day I was invited to make the vocational meetings which enabled me to open a new curtain on the horizon of my life. After being invited, I accepted and today I am making my way for conversion. In this congregation I am discovering the problems that have affected me since I was a child, seeking spiritual growth and learning to accept myself to accept the others. I am grateful to God for this opportunity and may the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved everywhere!" Emmanuel is very young, but ambitious and eager to follow his calling from God. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys spending time with his family. He is just starting his seminary education.

Georges Zang Amougou is from Awae-Centre, Cameroon. Georges tells us about what attracted him to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart "I had a great devotion for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I did not see in him a cure for the world like Father Jules Chevalier, but as a place where my own healing. I felt love by this heart so deeply that I multiplied the novenas. It was my safety, my reason for hoping that I would lose a lot. This heart, I am still certain, will give me salvation. This attraction to the Sacred Heart is the primary cause of my entry into the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart congregation. How not to share the blessings that God's love has brought in my life so that others in return seek it." In his free time, Georges enjoys helping the poor and spreading the word of God. Georges is in his third year of Theology.
